Am I too fat, too old, too inflexible, too skinny, or too unfit to start classes?
The simple answer to this is No, No, No, No, and No. The classes are for woman of all shapes and sizes, all walks of life, and is not dependant on your race or age. (You have to be older than 18 and younger than 90). I've had everyone in my classes from international bank managers to optometrists. Lawyers, Personal Assistantc, Business Owners and housewives. You don't have to have any prior experience or fitness level to join. The workouts are all low-impact and you move along at your own pace. You are never too old to have a happy childhood. Do something fun for yourself. You might not be perfect, but who is!? Be proud of it.

I don't want to become a stripper. What will people think if they know I'm attending class?
Sometimes when you tell someone that you are pole dancing they will look at you as if you were growing an extra toe. People are way too judgemental and should mind their own business. This is something that you do for you. What you do with the skill I teach you is your responsibility. No one can make you do anything you don't want to. Here's a newsflash: Exotic and Pole dancing aren't just for "sluts" anymore. Any way – Oprah has it on her show every now and again. If she does it, it must be ok. Your reasons for wanting to learn this are your own, but I promise you this: You'll gain confidence, tone up and add some spice to your life. The best part is that you don't even need a man to dance for. You can dance completely for yourself. I do however want to add: If for some reason, the idea of your dancing being connected to the strip club scene is upsetting to you, if you desperately need to distance what you do from what those 'other girls' do, if you truly believe that you are doing this because it’s just a really good workout, then I strongly suggest you spend some time thinking about why you chose pole dancing. Because there are a million ways to get fit without putting on high heels, hot pants and swinging sensually around a pole. Its sexy. And its intended to be just that. Be proud of it.

I am a mother, I can't do this?
But there is so much more to you than just being a mommy! As a mother, I know how easy it is to forget about yourself. You are so busy tending to everybody else's needs that you almost loose your identity. You can be a yummy mummy! Loose the extra weight you gained during pregnancy and to some degree remember who you are. Mom deserves an hour or two during the week for herself. Come blow off some steam!

I don't like strippers and strip clubs and I have forbidden my man to go there. How can I now attend your classes?
More and more women are realising that this is a fun alternative to going to gym. Its benefits reach far beyond the physical. When you are on the treadmill for an hour, that's exactly what you get: exercise. When you pole dance for an hour a week something inside of you changes. No counselling (although that might be offered free of charge on occasion), and no therapy – Only a sympathetic ear. I'm always amazed at women who either hate all strippers or follow their hubby to the strip club and drag him out by the collar. You can do this for him yourself! All you need is a little confidence and you will have him wrapped around your little finger in no time! You don't realise the power you have in your femininity! Before you know it he will be so bored with the strip clubs... So give it a try! Try something new and daring.

Is any clothing removed?
No. The purpose of the pole fitness classes is to improve your coordination, flexibility, and strength while having fun and losing weight. Should you wish to learn the art of the striptease, we offer fun workshops that you can book with us (and even then… we keep our clothes on!).

I am not that strong, is this the class for me?
Of course! Our instructors work with women of all different fitness levels. Moves are shown so that women of all different strength levels are able to do the moves. The fitness classes are designed for that very thing – to improve your overall strength and fitness.
